"Raise a banner for the nations!
All you people of the world,
you who live on the earth,
when a banner is raised on the mountains,
you will see it..."
Isaiah 62:10 ~ Isaiah 18:3
Let's come under His banner!
Let's raise this banner to the world -- a sign that Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That in Jesus we can be one because His love covers (1 Peter 4:8).
What does the Bible say His banner over us is? His banner over us is love (Song of Solomon 2:4). Heaven's Rehearsal is one of those banners that is going to express His love.
What is His love? 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says: "4 - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 - It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 - Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 - It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
This is a passage of Scripture we usually hear read at weddings. Well, at this wedding rehearsal we're going to be coming under that banner of God. God is love (1 John 4:8). And His love covers a multitude of sins! On September 15th, as a sign to the world, His love is going to cover barriers, divides, strongholds, etc... So many times we have come under our own "banner identity" of "I'm from this nation" or "I'm from this denomination." But whose identity are we supposed to have? Jesus, who showed God's perfect love, came to serve, laid down Himself -- His identity for us (Phil.2:7,8). And whose banner are we supposed to come under? God's banner: and His banner over us is love.
God is calling us in these last days to lay down ourselves, "our world" and become ONE just as He and the Father are one (John 17:22). He is calling us to His revolution of HOLY LOVE -- to come under that banner.
In these end times there will be many banners expressing this, and Heaven's Rehearsal is one of those banners carrying this revolutionizing love. A revolution is a "quick change," "a complete turnaround." When God's holy love consumes us, we are going to experience a shift in the Church and a change to HIS HEART that we never have experienced before.
In Biblical times, the banner was used militarily as a rallying point for troops in preparation for battle and leading them into action. These banners signaled the gathering of the troops. September 15th is going to be a rallying point, a commissioning, as we wait under His banner of love. A new love is going to be poured out for Jesus and His body. It's going to be poured out and COVER, FILL, and OVERFLOW to the world!
Heaven's Rehearsal, one of His banners of love, is being raised. It is radical love that's passionate about living "as Heaven on Earth." It is doing what the Bible says is going to happen in Heaven: His Kingdom of unity and worship.
The troops are being summoned by His Spirit; troops of every nation, every tribe, every people, every language, and every generation. The Bride is making herself ready and we are going to be crying out: COME LORD JESUS (Revelation 22:17).
Rehearsing for Heaven, will you lay down your identity and enlist for the cause of His Kingdom?
Get ready! God has specific things in place for the hour. And we need to be a part of them! Through these moments in time, He is preparing the Bride for what's about to happen. He is separating the light from the dark. He is coming for a pure spotless Bride without compromise. He is coming for a Bride that's living THY KINGDOM COME. What does His Kingdom look like? It is UNITY. Unity of every nation and generation.
Under His banner of love expressed in passionate, intimate worship there is an opportunity of the unity for which Jesus prayed (John 17:23)... this unity is only possible under a banner of love and a release of His glory! Unity is the highest expression of love as there is a laying down of our lives for each other "that the world may know...!"
Heaven's Rehearsal, as a banner and rallying point for the nations, has the potential to serve as an expression of His love in its highest form. The voices of the nations combined in intimate worship could be the "sound" of that unified Warrior Bride going into action for end time, global harvest!
