This message was posted today on a well-known Christian prophetic website.  Like Dr. Samuel Doctorian, love is the main theme of most of the messages I post.  However, judgment is the mercy of God.  "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."  Proverbs 9:10

Our Father loves us enough to warn us and to let us know of impending judgment.  If we do not warn the sinner, his blood is on our hands.  Ezekiel 3  Many of these judgments have already occurred, but many are still to come.  Prayer and intercession for lost souls and turning of nations to the Lord may lessen the severity of the judgments.

Dear Friends,

The following prophecy should be of interest, concern and the anticipation  of  the  return of the KING & THE LORD OF LORDS.  " THE FIVE ANGELS OF THE CONTINENTS "

Message given by Dr. Samuel Doctorian - 18th August 1998 in the Isle of  Patmos. This message was transcribed  by Puthanne Garlock from a tape we received  in Singapore on August 30th from Wee Tiong How.  He had just returned from the  Isle of Patmos where he attended a prayer retreat with a small group of  Singaporeans, and where Samuel Doctorian related this experience to them. We do  not personally know Dr. Doctorian ( a naturalized Americian), but his ministry is  well spoken of by many of our friends in Singapore.

I was here alone in a house on the Isle of Patmos for several weeks to  pray and seek the Lord.  I found a little chapel - St. Nicoloas's Chapel - where no one ever goes.  I went there and poured out my heart before God. I found  a rock on the side of a hill where I would go to sit and pray - meditation and  reading the Bible.  I ate very little during those days.  Several times I went to  the cave of John where he saw the great Revelation.
While meditating for one month in this solitary place, I thought, "I  wonder if the Lord will ever send a tenth angel?" I'd seen angels nine  times before - in England, Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Amman, Jordan, Jerusalem, and an  angel that delivered a woman from being hanged in upper Egypt.  I saw the ninth  angel in Beirut in the midst of war.  The angel physically awakened me at 3.00 in  the morning and told me to get out of the country immediately.  I am grateful to  the Lord until today.  I don't know what might have happened to me if the  angel had not come.  Heaven will tell that one-day.  So I wondered whether I would  see an angel for the tenth time.  There were times when I was praying when I felt  such presence I asked,  "Lord, I wonder if  an angel is coming now?"
 But it was not so. One night I even dreamt about an angel. He told me to fly in
 my dream and I did - but that was only a dream.  I wanted to see a real angel, as
 I had seen nine times before.

On June 20th at 3.50 a.m. here in Patmos, suddenly my room was full of  light and there are no lights around here.  It is a house all by itself at the end  of the road near a monastery.  Lo and behold, when I was wide-awake - I saw five  beautiful angels.  I saw their faces -  perfect and human like, but full of light.  I saw their eyes, their hair, their hands.

On my right side were two angels, and when I looked on the left I saw  three other angels with wings.  They had white beautiful white robes falling to  the floor - something I can't describe with human words.  I wondered why five  angels had come, but I was trembling and shaking.  I wanted to cry, but I could  not.  Just before I saw these angels in the spirit, I had seen myself in a great  meeting of multitudes, and I was preaching in English.  An Interpreter was  on my  left with dark hair and a grey suit, but I can't remember that language he was  speaking.  I was prophesying this message :-


" My church, you preach love, you teach love, but you need to  practice love - to show love.  There is need of unity in my body.  There are many  divisions among you.  My spirit will not move and work where there is no unity.  There is carnality in my church; too much uncleanness in my church.  I desire and  I want holy people.  I died to make you holy. "


While I was prophesying in the spirit, I was trembling.  My eyes open and  I was looking at the great multitude.  And suddenly, in the midst of the prophecy,  these mighty angels appeared.  I went back from the pulpit and thought I was going  to fall down.  I am now wide-awake but this is all happening in the spirit. Some  power helped me not to fall down and I wondered what was happening.


Then suddenly the first angel on my right side said, " We are five  angels from he five continents.  We are here to give you messages from the five  continents of the world. "  The moment I heard that, I also heard the  multitude crying out, " Ohhh, Ohhh, Ohhh, "  I believe that multitude  saw the angels also.  Somehow the Lord showed me that in the days to come, in many  parts of the world, God is going to reveal Himself through ministering
angels.  It's going to happen publicly, it's going to happen in churches and  thousands of people seeing angels at the same time.  They will be ministering to  the Body in these last days.  Then came this message from the angels, " What  you see and hear, tell it to the nations."  So it's not something to keep  to myself.  Whether they accept it or don't accept it, I have to tell it to  the nations.


FIRST ANGEL


The first angel said, "I have a message for all of Asia. "  When  he said that, in a split few seconds, I could see all of China, India, the Asian  countries like Vietnam, Laos - I've never been to those countries.  I saw the  Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.  And then the angel showed me all of Papua New Guinea, Irian Jaya and down to Australia and New Zealand.


" I am the angel of Asia, " he said and in his hand I saw a  tremendous trumpet that he is going to blow all over Asia,  Whatever the angel  said, it's going to happen with the trumpet of the Lord all over Asia.  Millions are going to hear the mighty voice of  the Lord.  Then the angel said, "There shall be disaster, starvation - many will die from hunger.  Strong  winds will be looked like has never happened before.

A great part shall be shaken and destroyed.  Earthquakes will take place  all over Asia and the sea will cover the earth.  - This took place on 26th December 2004.


I saw this on June 20th.  Today is August 16th. A few weeks ago I heard  the news of  villages completely wiped out and washed into the sea in Papua New  Guinea.  Thousand of lives in great jeopardy.  That happened a few weeks ago, and  the angel told me it is going to happen all over Asia.  "The earth will fall  into the sea,:  I heard the angel say, " part of Australia will be shaken.  Australia will be divided, and a great part will go under the ocean.  "This  was frightening - I wondered whether I was hearing right.  But the angel said,  " Millions will die in China and in India.  Nation will be against nation,  brother against brother.  Asians will fight each other.  Nuclear weapons
shall be  used, killing millions."   Twice I heard these words,  " Catastrophic!  Catastrophic!"  then the angel said,  "Financial crisis will come to  Asia.  I will shake the world."


I was trembling while the angel was speaking.  Then he looked at me and  smiled and said, " There shall be the greatest spiritual awakening – bondage  will be broken.  Barriers will be removed, and  all over Asia - China – India  people will turn to Christ.  In Australia there will be tremendous revival."  I heard the angel of Asia say, " It is the last harvest."  Then as if  the Lord was speaking, he said, :  I shall prepare my church for the return of  Christ."  I was happy with such good news after the message of judgment.


All  the time the five angels were in my room I could feel their presence - it was
 tremendous.


SECOND ANGEL


Then I saw that the second angel hand a sickle in his hand, such as is  used in Harvesting.  The second angel said," Harvest time has come in Israel  and the countries all the way to Iran." I saw those countries in a few  split seconds. "All of Turkey and those (inaudible;) countries that have  refused me and refused my message of love shall hate each other and kill one  another."  I saw the angel raise the sickle and come down on all the Middle  East countries.

I saw Iran, Persia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, all of Georgia - Iraq, Syria,  Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, all of Asia  Minor - full of blood.  I saw blood all over  these countries.  And I saw fire, nuclear weapons used in many of those countries.  Smoke rising from everywhere.  Sudden destruction - men destroying one another.

I heard these words, "Israel, Oh Israel, the great judgment has  come."  The angel said, "The chosen, the church, the remnant, shall be  purified.  The Spirit of God shall prepare the children of God."  I saw fires  rising to heaven.  The angel said, " this is the final judgment. My church  shall be purified, protected and ready for the final day.  Men will die from thirst. Water shall be scarce all over the Middle East. Rivers shall dry up, and  men will fight for water in those countries."  The angel showed me that the
 United Nations shall be broken in pieces because of the crisis in the Middle East.
 There shall be no more United Nations.  The angel with the sickle shall reap the  harvest.


THIRD ANGEL


Then one of the angel with wings showed me Europe from one end to the  other - from the north all the way to Spain and Portugal. In his hand he had a  scale of measurement. I saw him fly over Europe, and I heard the words, " I  am grieved, I am grieved, unrighteousness, uncleanness, ungodliness - all over  Europe.  The sin has risen to heaven.  The Holy Spirit is grieved."  I saw  the rivers of Europe flooding and covering millions of houses.  Millions drowned.  After seeing this, I read the news a few weeks ago. Czechoslovakia had the worst flooding ever.  I also heard that the big river in China is in tremendous danger  of thousands of houses being destroyed in flooding.  I didn't know all this  news until after I had seen the vision and heard what the angels told me.
Suddenly I heard earthquakes all over Europe. "Countries that have had no earthquakes shall be shaken, " said the angel.  And suddenly, in my spirit, I saw the Eiffel Tower  in Paris crumbling and falling down. A great part  of Germany destroyed.  The great city of London - destruction everywhere. I saw  floods all over Scandinavia.  I looked to the south and saw Spain and Portugal passing through hunger and great destruction.


Many will die from hunger all over Spain and Portugal.  I was disturbed by  all this news, and I said, " Lord, what about your children?"  the angel  said, " I shall prepare them.  They shall be looking for the appearing of the  Lord. Many will cry to me in those days and I will save them.  I shall perform  mighty miracles for them and show them My power. "So in the midst of great  destruction, there will be the grace of God in those countries. I was happy that  God has His protection over His children.


FOURTH ANGEL

I saw the fourth angel with wings fly over Africia, and I could see from Capetown in the south all the way to the north of Cairo - I saw all the countries  there, more than fifty of them.  The angel of Africia had a sword in his hand – a  tremendous, sharp sword.  Suddenly I heard him say, " Innocent blood has been  shed.  Divisions amongst the people generations far from the Lord - they have  killed one another, thousands of people.  I have seen my faithful children in  Africia, and I shall reward all the faithful in the continent of Africia. I shall  bless them abundantly.  I shall control the weather - scorching and burning of the  sun in some parts.  Great rivers shall dry up, and millions will die from  starvation.  In other parts, flooding.  Foundation shall  be shaken.  My
Sword  shall judge the unrighteous and the bloodthirsty.  So many earthquakes Shall  happen that rivers shall flow different directions in the continent, flooding many
 villages.  "  I saw great pieces falling from the sky over different parts of  Africia  " There shall be trembling of the earth like has not been seen since  the creation.  None shall escape the sword of the Lord." I saw the River Nile  drying up.  It is the god of Egypt, fishes dead and stinking all over Egypt.  A  great part of the Middle of Africia will be covered with water - millions dying. "Lord,"  I said, "It is all bad news.  All destruction.  Any good  news?"  the lord said, "The final days has come.  Judgment day is here. My love has been refused now, and the end has come."  I was shaking and  trembling.  I thought I cannot bear it.

FIFTH ANGEL

Then I saw the last angel flying over North and South America - all the  way from North Pole down to Argentian.  From the east of the U.S.A. to California.  I saw in his hand a bowl.  The angel said he would pour out over these countries  the judgments that were in the bowl.  Then I heard the angel say,  " No  justice anymore.  No righteousness.  No holiness.  Idolatry. Materialism,  Drunkenness.  Bondage of sin.  Shedding of innocent blood -  millions of babies being killed before they are born.  Families are broken. An
 adulterous generation.  Sodom and Gomorrah is here.  The days of Noah are here.  False preachers.  False prophets.  Refusing of my love.  Many of them have the  imitation of religion, but denying the real power.


When I heard all that, I begged the angel,  " Can you not wait for a  little while ?  Don't pour it.  Give a chance for repentance."  The angel  said, "Many times God has spared and has spoken, but they have not listened.  His patience has come to an end.  But now the time has come.  They have loved  money and pleasure more than they have loved Me, " As the angel began to pour  from the bowl in his hand, I saw tremendous icebergs melting.  When that happened  I saw floods all over Canada and North America - all the rivers flooding;  destruction everywhere.  I heard the world market collapsing with mighty  earthquakes, and the New York skyscrapers were tumbling -millions dying (This  took place on Sept. 11th 2001)

I saw ships in the ocean sinking.  I heard explosions all over the north  country.  I saw the angel pouring over Mexico and two oceans joining together - the Atlantic and the Pacific.  A great part of north Brazil covered with water,  the Amazon river turning into a great sea.  Forest  destroyed and flooded. Major  cities in Brazil destroyed; earthquakes in many places.  As the angel poured,  great destruction took place in Chile and Argentina as never before.  The whole  world was shaking.  Then I heard the angel say, " This will happen in a very  short time."


I said, "Can't you postpone?  Don't pour these things out all  over the globe," and suddenly I saw the five angels standing around the globe  lifting up their hands and their wings towards heaven and saying,  "All glory  to the Lord of heaven and earth.  Now the time has come and He will glorify His  son.  The earth shall be burned and destroyed.  All things shall pass away. The  new heaven and new earth shall come, God shall destroy the works of the devil  forever.  I shall show my power - how I will protect my children in the midst of  all the destruction.  Be ready for that day, for the Lord has come.


My room was full of light from the brightness of the angels.  Then  suddenly they ascended up to heaven.  As I looked up I saw the angels go in five  directions.  I know they already have started their duties.  For more than an hour  I could not move.  I was wide-awake, trembling from time to time.  I said, " Lord, shall I leave Patmos now?,  He said "No I brought you for a  purpose."  I said, "The message from the angels all over the world is  not good news.  It is judgment, punishment,  destruction, devastation,.
What will  people say about me? I've always been a preacher of love,  peace and good
 news. "  The angel said, " It is our message.

 You are the instrument, the channel.  What a privilege that God has  chosen you to give this message to the nations.  " I said Lord, Thy will be  done"  To God be the glory.

Are you allowing your angels to work for you? Angels were sent to minister not only to you, but for you, the heirs of salvation. (Hebrews 1:14) Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? Don't you want them out there working for you?



Look at it like this. There you stand with an angel on both sides. You speak "I know that God is going to take care of this." Off your angels go to take care of "this." Then a little later when you can't see any physical evidence. You think "It will never change. I will never get this." (Since you are what you think…Prov 23:7) Then you say what you had been thinking right out loud to someone. Your angels come right back and stand right beside you, probably with folded arms. (I imagine the angels there in their warm up suits and Nikes.) Your Angels are there just waiting for an opportunity to go out and minister for you. They want to deliver to you the manifestations of all those things that God has promised to you. But you have to be responsible to speak "the voice of the Word." In other words, you have to speak that which is the will and way of the Lord that you have been given through the Holy Spirit. You speak it and God is obligated to do it. (Mark 16:20) The Lord has promised you angels to do your bidding when that bidding is His will. (Psalms 103:20) Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word . Not only do you have to speak what is His Word, but you have to NOT speak what is not His Word.



In 1 John 5:14-15 you can know that when you ask for something according to His will, He will hear you and answer you every time. Remember to pray in faith. Not begging… Thank God for the answers and remind Him of the very promise that gives you the right to have what you are petitioning God for.



Are your angels wearing out their sneakers (so to speak) running back to your side every time you nullify what you have prayed?



We don't always know how much time it is between the "Amen" and the " There it is" but we know He is doing it! Somehow we have got to come to the place in faith where we are not believing "He can" but that "He will." He can is still hope. He will is now faith.



One final little nugget… How ever many things you send the angels out to do the Word for you, there will be another angel for each request ready to work for you. God doesn't have any shortages. He can go out their and pick up the money you need for that bill and at the same time another angel is ministering to a sick baby in Kalamazoo for someone else who is believing and speaking His Word. There are plenty of angels. Every time one goes out for you, another comes immediately to stand beside you to take their place if necessary. God is concerned about your needs and your desires. Just make sure it is promised in His Word and go for it.

The Old Testament has much to say about angels. They appeared to men and women for the purpose of delivering messages from God as He sent them out. “Angel,” comes from the Greek word, “aggelos,” meaning “messenger.” For example, angels conveyed the message of the timing of the birth of Isaac, the promised son, to Abraham and Sarah. “Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” Genesis 18:14 Angels came to Sodom as deliverers of Lot and his family, before the Lord destroyed the city in judgment. Genesis 19:1-16

Another appearance of angels occurred at Bethel, where Jacob dreamed a dream in which “the angels of God were ascending and descending,” on a ladder which reached from earth to heaven. This dream is fulfilled in the ministry of Jesus to the children of God today, as evidenced by the fact that the Lord ministers to us by the angels., as well as in many other ways. “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Hebrews 1:14 “And of the angels He saith, Who maketh His angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.” Hebrews 1:7 Angels appear in service to the children of God many times in the Old Testament, but the New Testament has more references to angels. The archangel, Gabriel, appeared to Mary and to Joseph, concerning the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Michael is the archangel who guards Israel.

Let's look at some of the defining attributes of these heavenly beings known as angels.

1. Angels are invisible spirit beings, but they can take on human form, according to their particular mission, when sent by God.

In Numbers 22, Baalam’s donkey could see the Angel of the Lord standing in the way, preventing Baalam from pronouncing a curse on Israel, a very sinful act. Eventually, Baalam’s eyes were opened, and he could see the angel and hear his warning that he was not to curse Israel. Quickly changing his mind, Baalam could only bless Israel, as God had instructed him. When the angels came to Abraham and Sarah, they appeared as men. Genesis 18:2

 

2. Angels have supernatural strength and power given to them by the Lord. “Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His Word.” Psalm 103:20 The angels are ready, willing, and able to do whatever the Lord tells them to do, whether it’s delivering a blessing to you or saving someone from a disaster. “Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Psalm 91:9-12 We are never to tempt the Lord by doing something dangerous just to see if the angels will protect us. Jesus said, “Thou shall not tempt the Lord, thy God.” Even though angels are magnificent creatures, servants of God, we are never to worship them. Only the LORD is worthy of worship. True angels will not receive worship. They refuse to receive worship which belongs only to the Living God. Revelation 22:8-9; Colossians 2:18; Revelation 10:1

3. Angels behold the face of the Father on behalf of children. “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 18:10 As God lifts His countenance upon the children, the angels fly swiftly to their aid. Having been saved by the Blood of the Lamb, we should be faithful to bless our children and grandchildren, because the angels hearken to the lifting of the countenance of the Lord toward His children, and to those who shall be heirs of salvation. “And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: ‘Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: ‘The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.’” Numbers 6:22-24 As we pray for our children and children around the world, the Father hears our prayers for them, He lifts His countenance upon them, and His angels are dispatched to guard and protect the children, showing them God’s favor. We really need to keep children covered in prayer in these dark days. Many of the children who come to harm in the world have no one praying for them. God moves in answer to prayer. Children are very sensitive to the things of God. “A little child shall lead them.”

However, there is biblical evidence that when a person reaches the age of accountability and makes a willful decision to indulge in sin, angels withdraw their protection from that person. After the death of Joshua, the children of Israel began to serve idols, and the angel of the Lord said that he would no longer drive out the inhabitants of the land. Numbers 33:55 When Lot and his family were being led out of Sodom by angels, as it was being judged with fire and brimstone raining down from heaven, Lot’s wife looked back and longed for the world. The angels withdrew their protection, and she was turned to a pillar of salt. Genesis 19:26 Jesus reminded us in the Gospel of Luke, concerning the end times, “Remember Lot’s wife.” Luke 17:32

Angels have many characteristics, so it’s difficult to cover all of them in one article. Therefore, we will list some of their attributes, giving scripture references.

4. Angels are NOT all-knowing, but they are wise. Matthew 24:36; 2 Samuel 14:20 Angels were created with the ability to be eternally obedient to God, but they were also given a choice whether to obey or not. Hence, the fallen angels which followed Lucifer as he exalted himself. Isaiah 14, Ezekiel 28

5. The Bible always speaks of angels in the masculine gender. Gabriel, Michael, he, him…Daniel 8:16

6. Angels are immortal: they do not die. Luke 20:36 Hebrews 2:9, 15-16

7. Angels are holy. Matthew 25:31

8. There is no redemption for angels, since they have the ability to choose eternal obedience. The fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden does not apply in any way to angels. They desire to look into the things of salvation, but they cannot sing the redemption song. The holy angels have no need of redemption, because they are holy from creation, with no carnal nature. 1 Peter 1:10-12 There is no redemption for fallen angels, or demons. They possessed the ability to remain holy, but chose not to do so. Angels will be judged by the redeemed. 1 Corinthians 6:3

9. Angels do not need rest, and they can freely fly from heaven to earth with unimaginable speed. Revelation 4:8 Angels speak their own language, but they can speak the languages of men, as they did when they spoke to Abraham, Sarah, Joshua, Gideon, Samson’s mother, Mary, the shepherds, and many other people in the Bible. 1 Cor. 13:1

10. Angels ascend and descend from heaven, bringing blessing from the Father to believers and to protect and guard God’s people, as well as children. Genesis 28:12; John 1:51

11. Angels experience great joy when one sinner repents of his or her sin and is saved. Luke 15:10

12. Angels learn the wisdom of God by observing God’s people. Ephesians 3:10 They also record our deeds, by which we will be rewarded in heaven. Ecclesiastes 5:6, 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 Our sins have been judged in Jesus, but our works, following salvation, will be revealed by fire at the judgment seat of Christ, before which we shall all stand. Verses 14-15 If our works are tried by God’s holy fire and found to be “wood, hay, or stubble,” we “will suffer loss (of rewards); but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” Our works, for which we are rewarded, are described as, “gold, silver, and precious stones.” verse 12 In our walk with the Lord, we must seek His face, to do the Father’s will, not our own will, nor for our own glory, for He will not share His glory with another.

13. Angels are awesome in appearance, Judges 13:20, and they are innumerable. Psalm 68:17;  2 Kings 6:14-17

14. Angels will gather the elect at the end of this age. Matthew 24:31

God's holy angels love God and His children, and they minister to us daily, unseen most of the time. There is much more to learn about angels, but space does not permit. Angels watching over you…

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He cause His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May He lift His countenance upon you and give you complete peace.

Did you know that there are angels constantly watching over you, while you are busy with your daily tasks, and even while you sleep? Awesome, supernatural beings, or angels, are assigned by God to keep you from harm, to comfort you in difficult situations, and to bless you with good things sent by the Father. Unless the Holy Spirit reveals their presence to you, very likely you will go on with your activities, as usual, unaware that God’s holy angels accompany you every day of your life.



The Bible has much to say about angels. There are over three hundred verses in the Word of God that mention these heavenly beings, giving us some insight into their interactions with people, from biblical times to the present.



Just a word of caution--the ministry of angels to us is very important, but they are never to be worshipped. God, alone, is worthy of worship! “I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!" Revelation 22:8-9 God’s holy angels will not receive worship. They love and serve the God of heaven and earth, as we, his children, do. Actually, there are countless heavenly beings worshipping God day and night. He is worthy!


The word, angel, comes from the Greek word, aggelos, which means messenger. Angels are created beings, having been created by Jesus Christ, before the sixth day of Creation. Genesis 2:1 tells us, “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.” John 1:1-2



The Bible refers to the holy angels as “the heavenly hosts,” and “the hosts of heaven.” “And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.’” Luke 2:13-14 Angels sang to the lowly shepherds, at the birth of Jesus, heralding our Savior's coming in the flesh as a baby, in the City of David, that holy night. The heavenly hosts glorified God and sang the peace that Jesus came to bring to every tribe, nation, and tongue on earth.



Another instance in which we see the innumerable heavenly hosts, appearing in one place at the same time, is in 2 Kings 6:15-17. “Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?" So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them." Then Elisha prayed and said, "O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see " And the LORD opened the servant's eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” The king of Syria had come to war against Israel, and the Lord sent his heavenly hosts, with horses and chariots of fire. Elisha smote the Syrian army with blindness and led them away. The Lord instructed Elisha to open their eyes and to give them something to eat. “ …So the bands of Syria came no more into the land of Israel.” verse 23 In this account, we see both the severity of God to the disobedient and the goodness of God to His chosen. Jesus said, "You did not choose Me, I chose you." John 15:16




The Lord takes care of His own. Guardian angels watch over us. Actually, each of us has our own private guardian angels. Dr. Billy Graham, observing the plural in Psalm 91, concerning angels, concluded that each believer must have at least two angels whose assigned duty it is to protect them. Psalm 91:4 speaks of God “covering us with His feathers” and mentions that we are under His “wings.” Since God has no feathers or wings, some have suggested that these feathers and wings speak of our guardian angels’ wings, which protectively cover us to keep us from falling, getting lost, or stumbling into unknown dangers in the unseen realm of the spirit. Our Father’s care of us, through the ministry of the angels, keeps us in all our righteous ways, Psalm 91 says. In every person’s life, I am sure that the Lord has kept us from unknown dangers, when we were totally unaware of the guardian angels who surround us, unseen, unless the Lord opens our eyes to see them. They are sent forth by the Father “to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation!” Hebrews 1:14 That’s us! What a wonderful, loving Father we have!

Angels, angels caught up in the worship of the Father. Swirls of innumerable holy beings around the Throne. Always worshipping, adoring the one and only true God. Joyously, reverently, boundlessly, singing heavenly songs to His glory, never stopping to rest, for they never tire of exalting the One Who Sits on the Throne.

Angels, angels sent by the Father to protect His children, those who shall be the heirs of His great salvation. Mighty in strength, fierce in battle, yet, beautiful in appearance, bringing messages of peace and hope to Father’s offspring, through faith in His Son. Always watching over His own, always beholding the face of the Father on behalf of the children. O, Father, lift Your countenance upon the children of the world.

Angels, angels bringing messages of comfort to those who are afraid, saying, “Fear not, for the Lord thy God is with thee.” The Father’s hand extended and His protection dispatched to all washed in the Blood. Messengers from on high, straight from the throne room of heaven, delivering the Father’s love and peace to those who shall be the heirs of salvation.

Thank you, Father, for the holy angels, created by You to watch over us and to keep us in all our ways.  Angels, angels outnumber our enemies.  Glory to God in the highest!
